I have worked at Atrium health since 2008 and became a director in 2010.

After working within cardiac rehab for several years I undertook my PhD, investigating the use of electrical muscle stimulation in people with heart failure.   Over the years I have become more research active and have been involved with several trials involving exercise/rehabilitation in clinical populations

In 2019 I joined Warwick University as a research fellow,  and I am currently working on two national portfolio trials based at Atrium Health: The Supervised Pulmonary Hypertension Exercise Rehabilitation trial (SPHERe), and the Rehabilitation Exercise and Psychological Support after COVID-19 Infection

trial (REGAIN).
