I have worked in University Hospital in cardiac nursing since 1990 and a substantial amount of this time was spent working on the Coronary Care Unit, where I gained valuable experience in nursing patients with heart disease. I also had the opportunity to work on the surgical ward, caring for patient’s pre and post cardiac surgery.

I have worked as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Sister for 7 years supporting patients and their family following a cardiac event, with the goal of helping them to become responsible and autonomous for their future health and lifestyle changes.

My role is extremely rewarding.

I am also mum to Joseph my 22 year old son and 18 year old twins George and Eve, I enjoy holidays and family gatherings with my large extended family.
